Opportunity:

Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Details:

* Adult and geriatric ICU assignment
* ICU patient ratios are 1:1-3 based on patient acuity
* Patient ratios may be 1:4-6 when floating to Medical Surgical/Telemetry or similar units
* Every other weekend is required
* May float within scope to PCU, Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units based on facility needs
* Block scheduling is not available
* All requested time off and scheduling requests must be included at the time of submission
* Additional scheduling requests after the assignment begins may only be accommodated through an equal shift swap with another agency RN
* Must be available to work 2 of 3 holidays unless otherwise specified
* Minimum of 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Local candidates accepted
* Active NJ or Compact license required at time of submission
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, Stroke CEUs
* Required skills include: accessing/managing ports, arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, infection prevention, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, phlebotomy, post cardiac surgery care, suctioning (ETT, NT), titrating cardiac drips, titrating vasoactive drips, and PCU/Tele
* Epic charting system experience required
* Scrub color: Navy blue
