Job Details:

* Epic and Stroke Thrombectomy experience required - hard stop
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
* Unit systems include Epic (required), Pyxis, and SBAR
* Scrub color provided by the facility
* Patient ratio of 4 rooms with an average daily census of 25
* Every third weekend required, no more than 2 weekends per month
* Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed
* Call is rotated among the team
* If one or two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two
* Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
* Maximum of 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract
* Travel experience required
* Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Required skills include: Interventional Radiology, Angioplasty, Carotid Stenting, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Sheath Removal/Monitoring, Vascular Closure Systems, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Blood Product Administration, IV Vasopressors, Cardioversion, PICC Line Care and Maintenance, and Activated Clotting Time (ACT)
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
