Open Position: RN - Mother Baby Postpartum

Opportunity:

RN - POSTPARTUM

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Rotating weekend schedule required
* No on-call requirements
* Work on a 24-bed Antepartum/Postpartum unit
* Patient ratios of 3:1 and 4:1, occasionally 2:1 depending on acuity
* Staff includes 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, and 1 clerk during the day; no PCTs at night
* Perform non-stress tests, hyperemesis management, and insulin drips
* Administer magnesium and heparin drips
* Use EMR systems Meditech and CPN
* Required certification: BLS
* Previous labor and delivery or antepartum experience preferred
* Scrubs must be navy blue
* Teamwork-oriented with strong communication skills preferred

This healthcare facility is located within a dedicated Women's Tower and houses a specialized Antepartum/Postpartum unit on the third floor. The unit operates with a well-established team of experienced staff and maintains a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The facility utilizes modern electronic medical record systems and is committed to providing high-quality care to women and their families throughout the postpartum experience.
