Travel RN Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required
* Must have an active compact license at time of submission
* Work in a high-volume emergency department seeing 34,000?44,000 visits per year with 34 beds
* Patient ratio of 1:4
* Day shift staffing includes 1 Charge, 1 Triage, 4 RNs, and 1 Paramedic
* Mid-shift staffing includes 1 Charge, 1 Triage, 6?7 RNs, and 2 Paramedics
* Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge, 1 Triage, 4 RNs, and 1 Paramedic
* Perform procedures including stroke protocol, sepsis protocol, trauma protocol, triage, IV initiation, and moderate sedation
* Work with equipment including EKG, Lucas device, cardiac monitors, Dynamap, POC, and iStat
* EMR system: Meditech
* Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS
* Preferred certifications: TNCC, CEN
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs

The emergency department operates around the clock with a structured team including charge nurses, triage nurses, registered nurses, and paramedics across all shifts. The unit utilizes modern medical equipment and an established EMR system to support high-quality, efficient patient care across a wide range of emergency conditions.
