CVOR - RN

Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Weekend schedule is rotating and will be discussed during interview
* On-call required - typically one weekday/call per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks
* Floating required within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed
* Patient ratio of 1:1 on day shifts
* Patients served include adults and geriatric populations
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Required skills include: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Arteriovenous fistula repair, Carotid angioplasty, Carotid artery stenting, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Lobe resection, MAZE Procedure, Mitral valve replacement, Scrub Cardiovascular Surgery, Scrub Thoracic Surgery, Scrub Vascular Surgery, Thoracotomy, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery), and Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD)
* Interdisciplinary support available including Respiratory Services and Interpretation Services
* Holiday expectations: travelers are expected to work major holidays that fall within their assignment period
* Travel pairs are not accepted on this unit
* Block schedules are not honored and self-scheduling is not available
* All requested time off must be finalized at time of submission; no schedule requests can be made post-offer or onsite
* Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
