Opportunity:

OR - Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech

Job Details:

* Schedule options of 3x12-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts (specify preference at time of submittal)
* Primary unit is the Main OR with no block scheduling
* On-call requirement of 8-12 hours per month
* 3+ years of experience required
* Travel experience preferred
* Locals accepted
* Scrub role required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Charting system: EPIC
* Required certifications: BLS; CNOR preferred
* Active NJ or Compact license required
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
* Must be able to scrub and circulate ortho/neuro cases
* Patient mix includes ortho trauma and spine, neuro/craniotomy for tumor, robotic surgery (Xi, SP, DaVinci), bariatrics (gastric sleeves and gastric bypasses laparoscopically and robotically), laparoscopic and open belly cases both benign and oncologic for GYN and general surgery, and strong trauma skills
* Candidates are required to float within their skillset
* Must be available to work 2 of 3 holidays

This facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center operating a high-acuity main OR with a broad and complex surgical case mix. The facility supports advanced robotic surgical programs including Da Vinci Xi and SP systems, as well as comprehensive orthopedic, neurosurgical, bariatric, gynecologic, and general surgery services. The organization maintains high standards for clinical excellence and requires experienced surgical professionals capable of both scrubbing and circulating across a wide range of specialties.
