CT Tech

Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour night shifts per week, Friday through Sunday from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
* On-call rotation required Monday through Thursday among all technologists
* No floating between service lines or sister facilities required
* Perform high quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols on patient populations ranging from infant through geriatrics
* Perform inpatient, ER, and scheduled interventional cases
* Required skills include ability to start IVs, administer contrast, perform biopsies, and utilize PACS system
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT
* South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) CT certification required
* American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
* Must have graduated from an accredited school of radiologic technology or completed a student clinical rotation with ARRT certification
* Radiation badge must be provided by agency
* South Carolina state license required and must be in hand at time of start
* Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
* Charting system: Epic
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Block schedule requests require prior approval and are not guaranteed

This facility is a Level III Trauma, Acute Care Hospital with 286 staffed beds, offering a full range of inpatient and emergency services. The facility provides comprehensive imaging services including CT scanning for a diverse patient population, supported by advanced technology and experienced medical staff. The department operates with a collaborative team environment and utilizes Epic for charting to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
