Open Position: RN - Cath Lab

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2803.80

Opportunity:

Cath Lab RN

Job Details:

* 4x10-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with on-call requirements
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week
* Daily caseload of 8-10 cases per technician
* Patient ratio of 8 patients per shift
* On-call is required with a 30-minute response time
* Call weekend begins Friday at 7:00 PM and runs through Monday at 7:00 AM, rotating as first and back-up call
* Weekend requirement is call only
* Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
* Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required - must be competent in all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostic and Intervention including Structural
* First-time travelers not accepted - experience required
* Travel experience required
* Must be able to act as circulator in the lab and perform moderate sedation, assessment, medication administration, pre and post-op care, and call
* Charting system: Cerner (preferred)
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Free parking available for travelers
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (American Heart Association)
* Active WV or Compact License required to start assignment
* Previous charge experience preferred
* May float within scope to meet facility needs if required, but will more than likely remain in Cath Lab

This facility is a short-term acute care hospital and Level IV Trauma Center, as well as a major teaching hospital and member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH). With 838 total staffed beds, the facility provides a comprehensive range of medical services and maintains high standards of patient care across its departments.
