Opportunity:

RT(R) (Cath Lab Tech/CVT)

Job Details:

* Work 10-hour day shifts, with shift times of either 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM depending on call schedule
* On-call requirement of 1-2 nights per week and every 4th weekend
* Weekday call (Monday through Thursday): Once per week, end of shift until 7:00 AM the following morning
* Weekend call (Friday/Saturday/Sunday): Every 6th weekend, end of shift Friday until Monday at 7:00 AM
* 30-minute response time required for on-call shifts
* 3-person call team consisting of 2 techs and 1 RN
* No floating required
* Rotating day off each week
* 1 holiday per contract, call only
* Perform approximately 8 cases per day in 2 Cath Labs
* Cath Lab cases include diagnostic/interventional, LHC/RHC, NSTEMI and STEMI, Impella, IABPs, Rotablator, CTOs/staged PCI, shockwave, temp pacers, peripheral (legs) diagnostic/intervention, and loop recorders
* EP cases include Micra, pacemaker, AICDs, lead extractions/revisions, and generator changes
* Must be able to scrub and operate table simultaneously
* Monitoring experience preferred
* Will accept 1 year of Cath Lab experience for travelers who have traveled before; first-time travelers must have 2+ years of Cath Lab experience
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Required licensure: ARRT or RCIS License and Washington State License
* EMR: EPIC
* IV pumps: Alaris
* Medication dispensing: Pyxis
* PACS: Picom
* Hemodynamic monitoring system: Merge (experience preferred)
* C-arm: GE Alea (experience not required)
* Scrubs provided, including lead aprons (note: extended sizing available for scrubs but not for lead)
* Free garage parking available
* Must have a positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to work as part of a team

Facility:

This facility is a Level III Trauma Center with 375 licensed beds, featuring 2 dedicated Cath Labs. The facility provides robust support staff including a charge nurse/lead tech, respiratory therapy available 24/7, hospitalists, intensivists, a cardiologist on call at all times, and an RRT and code team as needed. The facility uses a comprehensive suite of modern technology and equipment to support a wide range of cardiac and electrophysiology procedures.
