Open Position: RN - Endoscopy GI

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2990.80

Opportunity:

RN - Endo GI

Job Details:

* Work 10-hour day shifts with the expectation to stay late as needed to complete cases (additional time is not considered call back)
* Weekend and holiday call required on rotation with staff for those with conscious sedation and advanced case experience
* Call response time is 45 to 60 minutes
* No floating requirements
* No weeknight call requirements for nurses
* Weekend call is on an 8 to 9-week rotation
* Holiday call is on rotation
* Department operates 10 procedure and OR rooms (8 outpatient, 2 inpatient)
* Average of 30 cases per day
* Common cases include EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, dilations, and food impactions
* Pre/post experience and conscious sedation experience required
* Advanced GI case experience strongly preferred
* Charting system: Cerner
* Facility supplies scrubs
* Unit-specific orientation provided
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
* Wisconsin or compact state RN license required
* BSN not required

This acute care facility operates as a Level 2 Trauma Center offering a wide range of specialized medical services. The Endoscopy and GI Unit features 10 procedure and OR rooms supporting both outpatient and inpatient cases, with a high volume of advanced gastrointestinal procedures performed daily. The facility maintains a comprehensive 24/7 coverage model and is equipped with modern technology including Cerner charting systems to support clinical staff in delivering quality patient care.
