CRT/RRT
Job Details:
* Work as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
* Unit covers ICU (8 beds), PCU (12 beds), MST (32 beds), ED (26 beds), and LDRP (5 Postpartum, 6 Labor, 2 bay triage, Level 1 Nursery)
* Patient ratios: With 2 therapists, one RT assigned to MST/ED and the other to ICU/PCU/LDRP; with 3 therapists, divided further based on census and acuity
* 2-3 therapists staffed per shift
* Minimum every other weekend requirement
* Block scheduling of Friday/Saturday/Sunday available if interested
* Equipment used: Hamilton C6 and PB 980 Ventilators, Vapotherm, Airvo, V60 BiPAP, and Bubble CPAP
* Documentation system: Meditech Expanse
* Procedures performed include ABGs, oxygen nebulization, vent management, BiPAP management, home oxygen qualifications, CPT vest, high-flow management, Bubble CPAP, and EKGs
* Patient experience requirements: AIDET communication framework
* Associates or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy required
* Current licensure in CRT or RRT required
* Must be a credentialed and active member of NBRC
* Minimum of 1 year of experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
* Dress code: Scrubs in gray, black, or navy
* Note: RTs cannot currently intubate; competency checkoff is in progress
