Open Position: RN - ICU

Opportunity:

TRAVEL - RN - ICU (650) - HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge - 6P - 6A

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
* ICU unit with 28 total beds across two pods (Pod A with 12 beds and Pod B with 16 beds)
* Typical patient ratio of 1:2, with potential for 1:1 or 1:3 depending on acuity
* Work with equipment including Pyxis, Plum Pump IVs, GE bedside monitors, Nelcor, Artic Sun, and Sub Zero
* EMR system: Meditech (experience preferred)
* Minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital ICU experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* NIH certification required
* TNCC preferred
* Typical procedures include neuro surgical, trauma (Level III), cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, ETOH/Drug withdrawal, and ventilated patients
* Must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to collaborate with team
* Patient-centered approach required

Facility:

This facility is a full-service acute care hospital with an ICU that recently underwent a 12-bed expansion, now providing capacity for 28 ICU patients across two pods. The unit is supported by 24/7 intensivists and a team of experienced nursing staff, some with 20+ years of experience. The facility is currently working toward achieving Level II trauma designation and maintains an average census ranging from 100 to 125 patients.
