Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Located on the 3rd floor of the main tower
* Patient ratios of 3:1 for feeder growers and 1:1 for vented babies
* Core staffing includes 2 NICU RNs and 1 NNP on site 24/7 with Neonatologist on call 24/7
* Work with equipment including Giraffe Omnibeds, STAR GE resuscitation for transport, and Giraffe with Shuttle transport
* EMR systems used: CPN and Meditech
* Perform typical procedures including assisting NNP with umbilical line placement, intubation assist, LP assist, and circumcision
* No surgical procedures required
* Minimum 1 year of current NICU RN acute care experience required
* Level 2 NICU experience required
* Infant resuscitation experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and NRP
* Level 3 and/or Level 4 experience preferred
* Experience with Eat Sleep Console for babies with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome preferred
* Admissions and initial stabilization experience in the delivery room preferred

Facility:

This facility operates a 6-bed NICU unit with a staff of 15, with standards of care driven by the largest NICU in the state of Colorado and supported by a Unit Based Council. The unit has been recognized with multiple prestigious awards including a Women's Choice Award and Health Grades Five-Star Recipient designation. The facility features brand new LDRP suites and boasts an experienced team with an average of 15 years of NICU-specific experience, along with a highly engaged group of NNPs and supportive leadership.
