Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2364.88

Opportunity:

RN - Medical Surgical/Telemetry

Job Details:

* 36-40 hours per week with overtime billable after 40 hours
* Every 3rd weekend required with holiday rotation if scheduled
* No on-call responsibilities
* Work in a 16-bed unit with a 5:1 patient ratio
* Patient types include telemetry, post-op surgical, orthopedic, and general surgery patients
* Responsible for reading and measuring telemetry strips
* Administer and manage drips including Insulin, Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone
* Minimum 24 months of Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry experience in a hospital or medical center setting required
* Orthopedic and general surgery care experience required
* EPIC charting experience required
* Telemetry experience preferred
* First-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 24 months of current nursing experience
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
* Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required
* Skills checklist specific to Medical Surgical or Medical Surgical/Telemetry required
* Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months preferred
* Driver's license required

This healthcare facility operates a dedicated Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with 16 beds, providing specialized care for a diverse patient population. The unit supports post-operative surgical patients, orthopedic cases, and general surgery patients, with a focus on telemetry monitoring and advanced drip management.
