Opportunity:

RN - Charge Nurse

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 5 x 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* Schedule and start times rotate
* No on-call responsibilities
* Provide unit-based leadership working collaboratively with Nurse Manager, Director, Physicians, and staff
* Supervise and direct nursing and ancillary personnel using professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment
* Ensure patients receive cost-effective, professional care resulting in positive outcomes and high patient satisfaction
* Initiate and coordinate care plan conferences with health team members, patients, and families
* Monitor personnel in the performance of patient care activities to ensure quality of work
* Investigate and resolve patient care and operational issues as needed
* Foster an environment of patient and family centered care with attention to cultural diversity
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in field required
* Minimum 2 years of charge or lead experience required
* EPIC experience required
* Trauma Center experience preferred
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and related experience required
* Master's Degree preferred
* Current RN licensure in state of practice required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
