Opportunity:

RN - Medical Surgical

Job Details:

* Day/Night rotating shifts with every other weekend and holiday required
* Patient ratios typically 1:4-5 on day shifts and 1:5-6 on night shifts
* May float to alike Medical Surgical and Telemetry units within the facility
* Utilize the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide individualized patient care
* Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues including physicians to plan, implement, and evaluate care
* Provide care for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
* Responsible for planning and coordination of care, patient assessments, patient education, triage, and various nursing interventions
* Coordinate and manage care for patients including those with complex needs
* Perform age-related patient assessments and nursing interventions
* Promote a safe environment for patients, families, staff, residents, and visitors
* Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary health care team to provide the best patient outcomes
* Charting system: EPIC
* Dress code: Navy Blue scrubs
* Cancellation policy: Client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* BSN not required
* Acute care setting
* Trauma Level 1 facility
