Open Position: Sleep Tech - Polysomnographer

Job Details:

* Night shift position working Sunday through Thursday on 12-hour shifts
* 3 night shifts per week; shifts will not always be consecutive and may include split shifts
* Must be RPSGT certified and BLS certified
* Minimum 1 year of sleep tech experience required
* Pediatric experience required
* Perform diagnostic sleep testing including all PAP therapy titration
* Responsibilities include checking in patients, setting up rooms, patient hookup, charting, and cleaning equipment
* Computerized charting using EPIC and Natus XLTech Sleep Works
* Utilize ResMed S9 Devices
* Patient ratio is 2:1 tech ratio unless patient is younger than 3 years old, then 1:1
* No floating to other units or departments
* No on-call requirements
* Will not work alone
* Orientation consists of modified EMR training and one shift with another sleep tech
* Scrub color required: Gray
* Must badge in and out at the facility

Facility:

This facility is a 10-bed sleep lab located in the lower level of an outpatient clinic, operating as a hospital outpatient department situated off campus from the main hospital. The lab is equipped with modern diagnostic sleep testing technology and accommodates both adult and pediatric patients, with two beds designated for pediatric testing. The facility features a secured entrance and convenient flat lot parking located immediately outside the building.
