Job Details:

* 13 or 26 week contract options available; if 26 weeks, must work 2 of the 3 main holidays
* Will consider 3x12 shift schedules
* Call required: 3-4 call shifts in a 6-week period, with at least one call shift on a weekend
* Daily census of 60-80 cases per day
* Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Covers all surgical procedures except Vascular, CVOR, and Neuro
* Strong experience in ENT, Plastics, and Pediatrics required
* Must be comfortable working with all patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Required skills include: Abdominoplasty, Breast augmentation, Free Flap/Microvascular, General OR, Laryngectomy, Mastectomy with TRAM flap reconstruction, Pedi General OR, Radical neck dissection, Tonsillectomy/Adenoidectomy, and Tracheostomy
* Scrub color is green; scrubs are provided by the facility
* Interdisciplinary support includes IV Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, and Unit Secretary
* Epic EMR experience preferred; minimum 1 year of Epic experience required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
* Medical testing required prior to assignment
* Floating to other units and/or campuses may be required based on census needs; staff will only float to units for which competencies have been demonstrated and documented
* Pre-approved time off: one occurrence allowed
