Special Procedures Technologist

Job Details:

* Support Interventional Cardiology (IC), Interventional Radiology (IR), Vascular, Structural Heart, and Neuro specialties
* Weeknight and weekend call required
* On-call requirement: 2-hour callback minimum, 8 call days within a 4-week period, 1 call weekend every 3-5 weeks (Friday through Monday), 24 hours on-call Saturday and Sunday
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* Block scheduling with attempts made to schedule as consistently as possible
* Daily caseload of approximately 15 patients
* Float within cath lab unit as needed; no floating to sister facilities required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, and State License
* Top procedures include Structural Heart (TAVR, Mitraclip, Watchman), IR, Neuro, Vascular, Cardiac, and EP
* Required skills include: Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult), Equipment Setup, IABP Placement/Removal, Interpretation of Dysrhythmias, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Left Heart Catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Recognition of Life-Threatening Arrhythmias, Right Heart Catheterization, Room Circulator, Rotablator Atherectomy, Scrub Procedures, Scrub - Maintain Sterile Field, and Sterile Technique
* Most common equipment includes: Philips Imaging Systems, Philips Xper Hemo System, Philips IVUS/IFR/FFR, Boston IVUS IFR/FFR, OCT, Roto, Penumbra, Angiojet, Jetstream, EKOS, and Shockwave
* Electronic charting experience required
* Pre-approved time off restrictions: 7 days
