Pharmacist Inpatient Days

Job Details:

* Inpatient days shift with variable shift times
* Block scheduling type
* 8 weekend shifts per contract (4 weekends)
* 2 years of experience preferred; first-time travel accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PharmD, RPh, and Kansas State license all must be in hand at time of submission
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Must be comfortable working with patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Required skills include: anticoagulation therapy, high-alert medications, inpatient/acute care, IV push medications, pediatric dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, Pyxis, renal dosing, sterile technique, therapeutic medication monitoring, and Warfarin dosing
* Travelers may be expected to float to like units within scope of practice based on facility needs
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy

This inpatient facility serves a diverse patient population spanning all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics, with a daily census of approximately 100 patients. The facility offers robust interdisciplinary support services and maintains a collaborative care environment with access to pharmacy, respiratory services, radiology, rapid response teams, and more.
