Job Details:
* 13-week contract with variable shift schedule; shift start times may be 7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, or 3:00 PM
* Weekend work required per needs of the unit
* May need to cover one night shift within the contract as needed
* Call required per needs of the unit
* Float required between Queen, Petaluma Valley, and Healdsburg facilities
* Minimum 3 years of experience required; 5 years preferred
* Travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
* Trauma Level I experience is a hard stop requirement
* Experience in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Robotics, and Trauma are hard stop requirements
* Patient diagnoses include Orthopedics (total joints and ortho trauma), Neurosurgery, Vascular, Robotics, General, GU, and GYN
* Patients served include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Daily census of 25 patients across 8 rooms
* Required certifications: BLS, CST (preferred certified CST), NBSTSA
* Required skills: Case Cart, Crash Cart, Scrub technique, and Aseptic Technique
* Preferred skills: Craniotomy and Airway Management
* Required equipment experience: Microscope, Laparoscopic camera and tower equipment, Arthroscope equipment
* Preferred equipment experience: Stealth Navigation Station and Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
* Proficiency in a wide range of surgical procedures including but not limited to orthopedic, neurosurgical, vascular, robotic, gynecologic, and general surgical cases
* Community hospital experience preferred
* California state license preferred; pending license accepted
* Dress code: Scrubs or business casual
* Orientation: 40 hours
* Pre-approved time off: Maximum of 7 days; must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
* Must request all RTO and specific scheduling requests upfront during submittal
* 2 professional references required, covering 1 year within the last 3 years

The organization maintains sister facilities in the surrounding area and expects travelers to support those locations as needed to ensure continuity of patient care.
