Opportunity:

RN - Postpartum

Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of experience required with high acuity postpartum experience
* Float required between Issaquah Campus (Postpartum) and Edmonds Campus (Postpartum), including Labor and Delivery for 2nd hour of recovery
* 6 weekend days required per contract
* Standard patient load of 4 couplets with ability to manage a surge census
* Required skills and experience include:
- High risk obstetric care
- Magnesium Sulfate therapy
- Pitocin (oxytocin)
- Foley catheter
- Postpartum hemorrhage management
- Substance withdrawal
- Cesarean section care
- Episiotomy/incision care
- Fundus/lochia/perineum care
- Vaginal delivery care
* JADA experience preferred
* Epic EMR experience required - hard stop requirement
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP
* Valid compact nursing license must be in hand at time of submission
* Patients served include infants and adults
* Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility

Facility:

This is a large volume, high census facility specializing in high risk obstetric care serving a diverse patient population. The facility features 57 beds and rooms with a daily census of 45 patients, offering comprehensive postpartum treatment following delivery. The unit is supported by an extensive interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries.
