Job Details:

* Work 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday
* Work every 5th weekend as required
* On-call required: short call (4 hours at the end of a shift) once per week; on-call hours do not count toward guaranteed minimum hours
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Block scheduling available
* Local candidates accepted
* Pending license accepted
* Requested time off ideally no more than 5 days
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, CCI RCES, CCI RCIS, Fluoro Permit, CET
* Epic/Excellian charting system experience preferred
* Community hospital experience required
* Scrub color provided by unit
* Parking available at a flat rate of $0.55/hour
* Operate and work with Affera PFA systems and Biosense Webster RFA systems
* Utilize intracardiac electrogram recording and pacing systems, therapeutic ablation systems, electrosurgical units, emergency equipment (TPMs, AEDs), and GE CardioLab
* Scrub EP studies including invasive diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures
* Perform and assist with cardiac ablations, pacemaker insertions, ICD insertions, laser lead extractions, and Watchman device procedures
* Conduct hemodynamic monitoring and perform EKG lead placement
* Maintain sterile field and demonstrate understanding of sterile technique and asepsis
* Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and respond appropriately
* Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Work within a 4-room unit with a daily census of 20
* Float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby as needed
