Opportunity:

RN - LTAC ICU

Job Details:

* Night shift position in LTAC ICU unit
* 36 or 48 hours per week available
* Block scheduling type
* Weekend coverage required
* Staff work both the 12-bed ICU and 35-bed Med-Surg unit
* Float to Med-Surg unit required at a 1:5 patient ratio
* Treats adult and geriatric patients (18 years and older)
* Patient diagnoses include vent weaning, wound care, spinal cord injury, trach/peg
* Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
* LTAC experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
* Clinical skills required include: antiarrhythmics, anticoagulation therapy, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care/management, chest tubes, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, management and interpretation of dysrhythmias, modes of ventilation, tracheostomy care/management, weaning from mechanical ventilation, and complex wound care, among others
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting that includes a 12-bed ICU and a 35-bed Med-Surg unit. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support and serves adult and geriatric populations with complex medical needs including ventilator weaning, wound care, spinal cord injuries, and tracheostomy/PEG management. Staff are expected to work across both units and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
