Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts available with 48-hour weeks approved
* Some weekend shifts required
* Float between units including Mother/Baby or other functional areas within the facility
* No on-call required
* Expected patient ratios: Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3
* 2 years of experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Scrub color: Any color for RNs
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM
* Valid Washington or Compact RN license required at time of submission
* 2 professional references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
* Must be comfortable with high-risk Labor and Delivery care including antepartum, pre-eclampsia, diabetes, multiple gestations, VBAC/TOLAC, induction/augmentation, and maternal emergencies
* Skills include IUPC placement and calibration, central line maintenance, anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, insulin drips, magnesium sulfate therapy, and C-section circulation and recovery
* Experience with external and internal fetal monitoring, neonatal resuscitation, APGAR scoring, and newborn assessment required
* Must be proficient in obstetrical triage, sterile vaginal exams, NST and OCT testing, and reflex/edema/clonus assessment
* Facility handles approximately 3,600 deliveries per year with a daily census of approximately 9 deliveries
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours

This facility is a Short Term Acute Care hospital and Level II Trauma Center with Level II Pediatric Trauma Center designation. With 629 total staffed beds, it operates as a teaching hospital offering a comprehensive range of services. The Labor and Delivery unit features 25 rooms and 27 beds, with robust interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, social services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
