Job Details:
* 12-hour shifts available with 48-hour weeks approved
* Some weekend shifts required
* No on-call required
* Float between units required, including Mother/Baby or functional elsewhere in facility
* Labor patient ratio 1:2, Antepartum patient ratio 1:3
* 25 rooms and 27 beds with an average daily census of 9 deliveries and approximately 3,600 deliveries per year
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Scrub color: Any color for RNs
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM
* Must be proficient in high-risk Labor and Delivery, Antepartum, Pre-eclampsia, diabetes, multiple gestation, VBAC/TOLAC, active management of laboring patients, induction/augmentation, and maternal emergencies
* Must be skilled in IUPC placement and calibration, central line maintenance (CVC/PICC), anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, insulin drips, and Magnesium Sulfate therapy
* Must be able to assist with high-risk deliveries, circulate and recover for C-sections, and perform sterile vaginal exams
* Experience with external and internal fetal monitoring, recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns required
* Must be proficient in neonatal resuscitation, APGAR scoring, newborn assessment, and thermoregulation
* Proficiency in administration of blood and blood products, IV management, and use of infusion pumps required
* Experience with special procedures including insulin drips, Magnesium Sulfate, PUBS, cerclages, versions, high-risk MFM patients, and cardiac patients required
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
* Valid WA or Compact RN license required at time of submission
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
* Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours

This short-term acute care facility is a Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 629 staffed beds. As a teaching hospital, it provides a dynamic and educational environment for healthcare professionals. The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams, ensuring a well-rounded and collaborative approach to patient care.
