RN - Rehabilitation Hospital

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts on a schedule of 3 shifts per week, primarily weekends
* Patient ratios of 5-6 patients per nurse
* Work across all 4 units, which are connected and interchangeable with no traditional floating required
* CNAs available on all shifts with 11 hours of unit secretary support per day
* Document using Meditech electronic documentation system
* Work with equipment including IV pumps, specialty beds, feeding pumps, lifts and transfer equipment, and life vests
* Required certification: BLS
* Experience in med-surge or rehabilitation preferred
* Dress code: Navy scrubs with white tops
* Facility is CARF and Joint Commission certified

This 80-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital serves as a regional referral center offering rehabilitation programs for a wide range of illnesses, injuries, and conditions including stroke, traumatic brain injury, and amputation. The facility provides a full continuum of post-acute rehabilitative care including traditional physical, occupational, and speech therapies as well as specialty rehabilitation programs. It is the only rehabilitation hospital of its kind in Western North Carolina, serving patients with a commitment to delivering exceptional, personalized care in collaboration with caregivers and families.
