Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

* Work 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with call responsibilities
* Monday through Friday schedule with 24-hour call coverage
* Self-scheduling for call, approximately one day per week and one weekend per month
* Weekday call begins at 4:30 PM and runs until 7:30 AM the following morning
* Weekend call runs from 4:30 PM Friday through 7:30 AM Monday
* No floating to other units required
* Ceil blue scrubs provided by the hospital
* Work with adult patient population
* Operate advanced equipment including OCT, IVUS, Shockwave, Impella, IABP, Pacers, Rota, CSI, Opsens, Cath Works, and Penumbra
* Use EMR systems Sunrise/Allscripts and Mac Lab
* Perform procedures including left and right heart caths, TAVR, TMVR, ASD/PFO, stents/angioplasty, atherectomy, mechanical thrombectomy, IABP, Impella, Mitral Clip, temp wires, pressure wires, VSD, and CarioMems
* Critical care experience required
* Impella and IABP experience required
* Experience titrating drips independently required
* Required certifications: ACLS and active RN license

Facility:

This facility operates a comprehensive Cardiac Cath Lab with three catheterization labs, an in-patient holding area, and a radial lounge for out-patients. The unit is supported by a team of 7 technician positions and 13 RN positions in the cath lab, along with 5 RN positions and 1 LNA position in the radial lounge. The facility performs a wide range of advanced cardiac and vascular procedures and is equipped with cutting-edge technology to support complex interventional cases.
