Job Details:
* 5x8 day shifts, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays; no Sundays or holidays
* 13-week assignment
* Guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period; traveler may be called off for one 8-hour shift per 2-week period
* No on-call required
* Float required between X-Ray and CT departments
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
* Free parking available
* Outpatient clinic setting; majority of patients are mobile
* Frequently see patients for follow-up cancer diagnosis
* Responsibilities include starting IVs, running i-STAT for labs, injecting contrast, and post-processing images
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics; neonates and infants preferred
* Required X-Ray experience: extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head/chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, and lower/upper extremities
* Preferred experience: fluoroscopy studies and enema studies
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), Fluoro Permit
* Required skills: abdomen without and/or with contrast, adult acute care, adult outpatient, chest without and/or with contrast, head without and/or with contrast, lumbar, musculoskeletal trauma, PACS, pelvis without and/or with contrast, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, starting peripheral IVs, thoracic, vascular CTA, and venipuncture
* Preferred skills: brain perfusion, cervical, colonography or virtual colonography, CT arthrography, GE, and Siemens
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Local candidates not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility
* Time off requests approved on an individual basis; only one time off request permitted per 13-week assignment

This outpatient imaging center is part of a larger acute care hospital system recognized as a Magnet Facility, Level II Trauma Center, and a USNWR Best Hospital. The facility operates 407 staffed beds and provides a wide range of imaging and diagnostic services. The imaging center primarily serves mobile outpatient patients, including those requiring follow-up cancer care, utilizing modern equipment and technology to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
