Job Details:
* 5x8 day shifts Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays; no Sundays or holidays
* 13-week assignment
* Guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period; traveler may be called off for one 8-hour shift per 2 weeks
* No on-call required
* Float between CT and X-Ray as needed
* Work in an outpatient clinic setting primarily serving mobile patients, including many follow-up cancer diagnosis cases
* Start IVs, run i-STAT for labs, inject contrast, and post-process images
* Serve patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics; neonates and infants experience preferred
* Required X-ray experience: extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head/chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, and lower/upper extremities
* Preferred experience: fluoroscopy studies and enema studies
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), Fluoro Permit
* Epic charting experience preferred
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Parking is free
* Only one time-off request permitted per 13-week assignment; approved on an individual basis
* Local candidates not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
Facility:
This outpatient imaging center operates within a large acute care hospital system recognized as a Magnet facility, Level II Trauma center, and a nationally ranked best hospital. The facility has 407 staffed beds and provides a wide range of imaging and diagnostic services. The imaging center primarily serves mobile outpatient patients, including those undergoing follow-up care for cancer diagnoses, and utilizes Epic for charting and modern imaging equipment including GE and Siemens systems.
