Opportunity:

PT - Physical Therapist

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday shifts, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* No weekends and no on-call responsibilities
* Float between inpatient and outpatient settings (80% inpatient, 20% outpatient)
* 7 treatment hours per day
* Treat a combination of inpatient and outpatient cases depending on census or preference
* Common diagnoses include SNF general, wounds, ortho, neuro, and debility
* Acute inpatient, acute rehab, skilled, and outpatient cases including all diagnoses
* Will see general PT cases including fractures, orthopedic injuries, sports injuries, 10-15% neuro cases, and a few amputations
* No acutely ill patients at this campus
* Wound care experience preferred but not required
* Inpatient and outpatient experience required
* May be asked to precept as needed by the unit
* Maroon scrubs required - not provided
* Charting system: MEDITECH
* Required certifications: BLS Certification
* Texas state and national PT license required
* Copy of driver's license required at time of submittal to validate legal name

Facility:

This critical access facility provides a broad range of inpatient and outpatient physical therapy services, including acute, skilled, and rehabilitative care. The facility is supported by a very supportive nursing and therapy staff, including two full-time staff physical therapists who assist with cases outside the contractor's experience. Specialized cases are referred to a sister facility, ensuring patients receive the appropriate level of care. The unit also has two to three PTAs and one tech on staff to support daily operations.
