Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts during business hours with call coverage as needed
* 1:1 patient ratios
* 2 suites handling 4-14 cases per day
* Weekend call required twice a month
* Holiday rotation with permanent staff
* Perform sedation monitoring for patients (RN role)
* Complete conscious sedation testing as part of protocol (RN requirement)
* Common diagnoses and patient types include STEMI, TAVR, EVAR (Endovascular Aneurysm Repair), interventional and diagnostic caths, cardio mams, and implants
* No floating required
* Charge nurse available on unit with no patient assignment
* Cath lab techs used for scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring
* IV team responsibilities handled by nurses
* Respiratory therapy and pharmacy support available 24/7
* Cardiologist in house
* Charting system: Cerner
* Scrubs provided by facility
* BSN not required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
