Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
* Every other weekend (EOW) schedule required
* Acute care setting
* Position may require flexible hours before and after standard shifts as well as overtime or hours in excess of 40 hours per work week
* May be the only RT in-house during shift
* On-call coverage outside of standard scheduled hours required per department and/or facility policy
* Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, implement and evaluate therapy plans, and revise as needed
* Perform diagnostic testing including ABGs, PFTs, EKGs, cardiac monitoring, bronchoscopy, and pulse oximetry
* Transport patients within the hospital or between facilities
* Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR) preferred; experience with Epic charting system
* Experience with adults and newborns required
* 1 year of respiratory therapy experience preferred
* Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program (CoARC, JRCRTE, or CAAHEP) required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC, NRP, PALS
* Must be within 60 miles of facility; valid driver's license must be submitted
* Must be in state for week of orientation
