Radiology Technologist

Job Details:

* Weekday schedule working 5x8-hour shifts from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM
* All weekends required throughout the contract
* On-call required for this position
* Floating between like units required
* Block scheduling available at manager's discretion
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Dress code: Black scrubs required for Radiology
* Charting system: Epic experience required
* Community hospital experience required
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, Fluoroscopy, California license
* Required skills include: portable chest and abdomen imaging, C-arm procedures, PACS, contrast media preparation and administration, emergency department imaging, ICU and NICU imaging, and a wide range of musculoskeletal and gastrointestinal imaging procedures
* Serves patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submission
* May be required to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility
* 2 professional references required, covering 1 year within the last 3 years

Facility:

This acute care hospital operates with 150 staffed beds and provides comprehensive medical services across a wide range of specialties. The facility utilizes Epic as its primary charting system and offers free parking for staff. The hospital serves diverse patient populations spanning all age groups from neonates to geriatrics, and maintains a well-equipped radiology department with 3 imaging rooms to support its clinical operations.
