Opportunity:

Job Details:

* 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* 40 guaranteed hours per week
* On-call required, including weekends and holidays
* 13-week contract
* Hospital provided dress code/scrubs
* Assist in advanced procedures such as pulmonary thrombectomy, AAA, TEVAR, and FEVAR
* Assist with complex procedures including multiple wire exchanges, long wires, and OTW balloons
* Operate specialty devices such as laser, penumbra, Inari, and shockwave
* Circulate, monitor, and scrub all Interventional Vascular procedures
* Troubleshoot imaging equipment in collaboration with biomedical engineers
* Participate in procedural charging and supply management
* Act quickly under emergency situations and assist with high-risk procedures
* Cross-train as needed to support departmental needs
* Manage access site including proper sheath removal, hematoma assessment, and hematoma management
* Apply knowledge of radiation safety, vascular anatomy, and sterile technique
* Communicate effectively with team members, patients, families, and medical staff
* Precept new staff and students
* Required certifications: ARRT-R (with VI or CV credential) or RCIS; BLS
* Minimum 1 year of experience as an Interventional Vascular Specialist, Interventional Radiology Technologist, or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist required
* 3-5 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
