Opportunity:

RN - Progressive Care Unit

Job Details:

* Work on a 44-bed Progressive Care Unit with a patient ratio of 4:1 at grid and 5:1 when stretched
* Day and night shifts available with grid staffing of 2 CNC/Charge nurses, 11 RNs, 4 CNAs, and 1 HUC per shift
* Every other weekend required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Must have neuro and trauma care experience
* Perform neuro and spinal checks, C-collar placement, TLSO braces, chest tube management, PCA pump management, IV infusions, lumbar drain management, feeding tube placement, and blood transfusions
* Work with equipment including IV pumps, Skylift, PCA pumps, chest tubes, trachs, and patient lifts
* EMR system: Cerner
* Floating may be required to stepdown units and med-surg units
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
* Ideal candidate is a team player with a patient-focused approach

The unit operates with a structured staffing model to ensure quality care, supported by charge nurses and clinical nurse coordinators on every shift. The facility utilizes Cerner as its electronic medical records system and maintains a collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
