Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
* Day shift position from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
* 36 hours per week guaranteed
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze relevant patient data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans, coordinating care delivery and employing strategies to promote health and a safe environment
* Evaluate progress toward attaining patient outcomes and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers
* Participate in discharge planning to provide continuity of care
* Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members
* Minimum two years of recent acute care experience required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* EPIC experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Current RN licensure in state of practice required
