Open Position: RN - Observation Unit

Opportunity:

RN - Observation/Med-Surg

Job Details:

* Primarily work on the Observation unit (1S) with required floating to other Med-Surg units including Respiratory, Stroke, and Cardiac units
* Potential to float to the Emergency Department if appropriately skilled and knowledgeable
* 36 hours per week, night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Every other weekend required
* Call responsibilities are a very rare occurrence
* Current Epic EMR proficiency is required and must be documented in referral information
* Active BLS and ACLS certifications are both required
* Minimum 3 years of current and recent Telemetry/Med-Surg experience required
* Must be able to read Telemetry/BCRA - competency will be tested on day one
* Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract
