LVN/LPN

Job Details:

* Work 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
* No weekend requirement and no on-call responsibilities
* May be required to travel between two office locations
* 1-2 years of outpatient oncology experience required
* 1-2 years of lab draw experience required
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Charting system: Epic (preferred)
* Required certification: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
* California LVN license with IV therapy and blood withdrawal certification required
* Competency in IV skills required
* Knowledge of all instruments and supplies to perform physical examinations and/or procedures
* Ability to take vital signs, administer medications, and obtain drug refills as needed
* Ability to recognize abnormal laboratory values and report to the physician
* Knowledge of symptomatology of common and/or life-threatening medical problems
* Skill to perform CPR
* Keyboard literacy skills to access and input data in computerized logging systems
* Ability to push, pull, or carry a minimum of 30 pounds or more
* Serve patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Patient diagnoses focus on hematology and oncology
* First-time travelers accepted

This outpatient oncology facility provides specialized care for patients across a range of hematology and oncology diagnoses. The facility operates Monday through Friday and supports a multidisciplinary team environment, emphasizing cooperative relationships among physicians, nurses, and all healthcare providers.
