Opportunity:
Occupational Therapist
Job Details:
* Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 5 shifts per week
* Must be available weekends, potentially all weekend shifts
* Float between inpatient and acute rehabilitation settings daily
* Provide occupational therapy services in an acute inpatient hospital setting and inpatient acute rehabilitation
* Neuro/ICU experience required
* Complete evaluations to ensure quality standards and address assessment areas requiring attention
* Use appropriate clinical techniques and tools to establish individualized treatment plans for patients
* Provide therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques
* Establish individualized care and discharge plans and ensure plans are communicated to appropriate parties
* Complete comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines
* Supervise assigned assistants as needed
* Must have strong clinical skills in acute inpatient hospital and inpatient acute rehabilitation settings
* Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience in hospital or acute rehabilitation settings required (no capacity to train or mentor)
* Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) required if license obtained on or after January 2007
* Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice required
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
