Open Position: RN - Bone Marrow Oncology

RN - BMT/ONC

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Rotating weekend schedule required
* No on-call requirements
* Located on the 6th floor in the main building
* 24-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4
* Day shift staffing: 1 CNC, 7 RN, 2 PCT; Night shift staffing: 1 CNC, 7 RN, 1 PCT
* Perform chemotherapy/biotherapy treatment and blood product administration
* Conduct frequent lab draws and cell transplants
* Work with Alaris pumps and document using Meditech EMR
* ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required (full 15.25 contact hours - not the fundamental 9 contact hour certificate)
* Oncology experience required
* TCT (Transcatheter) experience required
* BMT experience preferred
* CAR-T experience preferred
* Detail-oriented team player personality preferred
* Scrub color: Navy
* No artificial or gel nails permitted; masks required in patient care areas

This facility is a medical center that houses a specialized cell therapy and transplant unit operating on a 24-bed floor. The unit supports a highly skilled multidisciplinary team and focuses on delivering advanced oncology care, including chemotherapy administration and cell transplant procedures. The organization maintains rigorous standards for chemotherapy administration, requiring specially trained and certified nursing staff to ensure the highest level of patient safety.
