Opportunity:

Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts with possibility of extended hours to complete late-starting cases
* On-call required approximately 10 days or less per month, roughly 2 days per week or less depending on staff time off schedules
* Evening and weekend call rotation required
* Work independently for smaller interventional cases and in a two-person team for large angiography work
* Assist radiologists during procedures including scrubbing and coordinating the room during cases
* Perform scheduling and coding of procedures
* Complete post-procedure film processing with charting and billing of cases and supplies
* Primarily work in Interventional Radiology with floating to CT department to assist with procedures
* Utilize equipment including Electronic EMR (Epic), Sectra PACS, Toshiba IR Machine, and Siemens Ultrasound Unit
* Work within two fluoroscopy rooms, CT, and two MIS rooms for ultrasound procedures
* Scrubs provided in Ceil Blue
* Minimum 3 years of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT (R), BLS Certification
* North Dakota Medical Imaging Board Registration (NDMIRT) required - allow approximately 4 weeks to obtain
* EPIC experience preferred
* BSN not required
* Trauma Level 2, Acute Care setting
* Candidates with permanent addresses within 80 miles of facility are not eligible

Facility:

This Level 2 Trauma acute care facility provides comprehensive imaging and interventional radiology services in a well-equipped department. The facility features two fluoroscopy rooms, CT capabilities, and dedicated ultrasound procedure rooms, supporting a wide range of interventional and diagnostic imaging cases. The department utilizes advanced technology and maintains a structured orientation program including EMR training and equipment protocol review to support incoming staff.
