RN - ER

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week
* Rotating weekend schedule required
* Patient ratio of 4:1, with 6:1 ratio for low acuity ESI 4 & 5 patients
* Prior emergency department experience required
* Stroke and STEMI experience preferred
* Trauma and pediatrics experience preferred
* Perform splinting and breathing treatments in addition to typical ED RN duties
* Work with equipment including Lucas, Level 1, Alaris IV pumps, I-Stat, EPOC, and GE monitors
* Document using EPIC EMR system
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, ENPC
* Alaska RN license required at time of submission
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs, appropriate fit (not tight or revealing)

Facility:

This hospital features a 20-bed Emergency Department with 4 additional hallway beds, staffed by a multidisciplinary team including Charge RNs, Flow Coordinators, RNs, ED Techs, and Ultrasound specialists. The facility operates multiple shift options and maintains a robust team structure across day, mid, and night shifts to ensure comprehensive patient care around the clock.
