Opportunity:

RN - Progressive Care Neuro Trauma

Job Details:

* Work in a 23-bed Progressive Care Neuro Trauma unit on the 4th floor
* Patient ratio of 4:1
* Day shift staffed with 6-7 RNs and 2 Aides; Night shift staffed with 6-7 RNs and 2 Aides
* Work with bedside monitors, end tidal O2 monitoring, high flow, chronic vents, and subdural drains
* Document using Meditech EMR system
* Perform or assist with chest tubes and EEGs
* Telemetry step-down experience required
* Neuro experience preferred
* Trauma experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
* Preferred certifications: NIHSS and TNCC
* Every other weekend required; no on-call requirement
* Float to all inpatient units including ICU and ED as needed
* No specific scrub color required; professional attire expected
* Team-oriented personality a strong fit for this unit
