Open Position: Lab Specialist - MLT

Medical Lab Tech

Job Details:

* Variable schedule working 5x8-hour evening and night shifts
* 26 or 13 week assignment length at traveler's choice
* No weekends unless on call
* Call rotation every 4 weeks for 1 week; call hours are 6:00 PM to midnight Monday through Friday with additional weekend call
* Guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period with the possibility of being called off for one 8-hour shift per 2-week period
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Must be located at least 50 miles from facility; locals not accepted
* Required certifications: ASCP MLT or MLS; BLS preferred
* Required skills include Blood Bank, CMP, CPC, COVID, FLU, and Urine
* Epic charting system experience required
* Scrubs of any color accepted
* Float within scope to meet facility needs as required
* Block schedule accommodations available
* Serve patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
* Facility provides housing and a rental vehicle for the duration of the assignment
* Parking is free

This is a Critical Access Hospital with 40 staffed beds, providing essential healthcare services to its community. The facility offers a collaborative and supportive environment where clinicians may float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities to meet patient care needs. The organization utilizes Epic as its charting system and is committed to delivering quality care across a broad range of patient populations.
