Job Details:
* Primary shift hours are 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM (worked 90% of the time), with additional shift options of 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM and 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM as needed
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* Up to 2 weekends of on-call per month and up to 2 weekdays of on-call per week, with holiday call as needed
* Perform and assist with a full range of cardiac surgery cases including CABG (on/off pump), AVR, MVRR, TVRR, aortic aneurysm/dissection, total artificial heart, heart transplant, LVAD implantation, minimally invasive valve replacement, and transcatheter mitral/aortic/tricuspid valve replacement
* Perform and assist with vascular surgery cases including endovascular and open vascular procedures: AAA, thoracic and thoracoabdominal aneurysm including fenestrated grafts, endarterectomy, bypass for peripheral artery disease, amputation, and ECMO decannulation and repositioning
* Preferred case experience includes general, endo/laparoscopic, vascular, thoracic, bariatrics, and transplant procedures
* Required CVOR case experience includes: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Atrial Septal Defect Repair, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, EVAR, Femoral Popliteal Bypass Graft, Mitral Valve Replacement, Pericardial Window, TAVR, TEVAR, VAD, and ECMO
* Work within a 6-room OR suite consisting of 4 standard ORs, 1 Hybrid OR, and 1 PV room
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with a daily census of 8 to 10
* Charting system: Excellian/Epic
* Scrubs are provided by the facility for this position
* Parking is available at a flat rate of $0.55 per hour
* Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS and NBSTSA or NCCT
* No floating within scope or to sister facilities required
* Requested time off restrictions: no more than 5 days per contract
