Opportunity:

Cardiovascular Sonographer

Job Details:

* Day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with on-call responsibilities
* Perform M-Mode with calculations, 2-D procedures with all necessary views and calculations, and Doppler echo with analysis on adult, pediatric, and neonate patients
* Perform all peripheral vascular procedures including arterial Doppler, venous Doppler, segmental pressures, ankle-arm index, and carotid ultrasound
* Perform tilt table exams, treadmills, 24-hour Holters, and pharmacological studies
* Demonstrate ability to obtain and interpret information based on patient's age-specific needs including pediatric and geriatric patients
* EPIC experience required
* Minimum two years of recent experience as a cardiac ultrasound sonographer required
* Two years of experience as a vascular sonographer preferred
* Two years of experience as a pediatric cardiac sonographer preferred
* One year of experience as a Fetal ECHO sonographer preferred
* Required certifications: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Ultrasonographer (RDCS), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), Pediatric Echocardiography (PE), Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), ARDMS-PE or CCI-RCCS, and AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS
* Fetal Echocardiography (FE) certification preferred
* Precept new staff members and mentor other staff as needed
* Stay current with the latest advances in cardiovascular techniques and equipment
