Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 24-bed unit focused on oncology and general surgery
* Patient ratio of 1:5 (estimated, never guaranteed)
* Night shift consists of 1 charge nurse and 5 nurses when unit is at full capacity
* Primary nursing care model
* Remote telemetry unit with vital signs performed every 4 hours for remote tele patients and every 8 hours for standard patients
* Perform standard med/surg care and chemotherapy administration
* Chemotherapy can only be hung and handled by chemo-certified nurses
* EMR system: Meditech
* iPhone nursing system used for team communication
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital med/surg experience required
* BLS certification required
* Chemo certification preferred
* ACLS preferred
* Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team required
