Job Details:

* Work in a 19-bed emergency department with an additional 4-bed psychiatric pod
* Patient ratio of 4:1
* 36-hour scheduling requirement per week
* Day and night shift unit secretaries available, with Monday through Friday day and night tech scheduled
* Work with equipment including Hillrom, Stryker, GE, and Lifepak defibrillator
* Document using Meditech system
* May be floated to psych pod or another system emergency department location
* Strong sepsis and stroke skillsets required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI, and active RN license
* Required dress code: Navy scrubs

Facility:

This facility is a chest pain and stroke certified emergency department located on the first floor of the main building. The unit features an experienced staff, many of whom have been with the organization for 5 to 20 or more years. The department benefits from excellent provider and nurse relations and offers tele psych services, providing a well-rounded and supportive environment for emergency care professionals.
