Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* Daily caseload of 8-12 cases
* Procedures include coronary diagnostic and intervention, peripheral diagnostic and intervention, and permanent pacemakers
* Patients diagnosed with Coronary Artery Disease, Peripheral Vascular Disease, and Cardiac Arrhythmias
* Patient age groups: Adults and Geriatrics
* Call required: up to 4 days per week depending on need
* Up to 2 weekends per 6-week schedule
* No weekend requirement for standard scheduling
* Floating not required
* Self-scheduling
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Orientation: 30 hours
* 2 years of experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT, BLS, Fluoroscopy Permit
* RCIS not accepted; ARRT preferred
* Pending Fluoroscopy Permit candidates considered if permit has already been applied for at time of submission
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Scrubs provided for Cath Lab
* Free parking provided
* Block scheduling will be considered
* Local candidates accepted

This acute care hospital features 150 staffed beds and has been rated as one of America's 100 Best Hospitals for Coronary Intervention. The facility has also received the American Heart Association's Bronze recognition and offers a wide range of interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The Cath Lab operates 2 rooms and utilizes Epic for charting.
